Wheel of Wellness
The Wellness Project implements its mission through 8 key markers of wellness that we envision like spokes on a wheel. Without even one of its spokes, a wheel will become immobilized and can no longer turn smoothly and freely. We believe the same is true for human beings. Without any one of these important markers on the Wheel of Wellness we too can become immobilized and cease to move forward in a holistic way in our lives. By tending to all of these areas we hope to help individuals and ultimately our communities achieve whole body healing and wellness. We aim to offer opportunities to people of all ages, races, sexual orientations and income levels

Mental Health
Mental Wellness is more than the absence of mental illness. It is about achieving a positive state where you can cope with life's stresses, realize your abilities, learn well, work well, and contribute to your community. It is an integral component of overall health. The Wellness Project is committed to supporting Mental Wellness in our community by offering opportunities to build strong social connections through shared experiences focused on engaging in creativity, curiosity and reflective thinking.

Environmental
Environmental Well-being refers to the positive relationship between individuals and their surroundings, encompassing both the physical and social environments. It involves living in harmony with the environment, understanding how it impacts our overall well-being, and making conscious choices to protect and sustain it. At The Wellness Project we help build Environmental Wellness by connecting people to nature, practicing sustainability and mirroring what it means to embody clean and safe spaces.

Financial
Financial Well-being is a state where an individual feels an alignment between their gifts, passions and livelihood. It is characterized by the freedom to choose meaningful work and / or the time to engage in acts of service. The Wellness Project seeks to offer meaningful work opportunities to it’s practitioners and to give the community an outlet for meaningful service through volunteering.

Social
Social Well-being encompasses the ability to build and maintain positive social connections, feel supported and connected, and engage in meaningful social interactions that enhance overall well-being. The Wellness Project seeks to offer members of our community a place where they can experience true belonging, mutual respect and have engaging and meaningful conversations.

Creativity
Creativity is at the core of what it means to be human, making our Creative Well-being central to our ability to feel whole or complete. Imagination, expression and the freedom to explore ideas and emotions through art, movement, sound and story are all integral to Creative Well-being. The Wellness Project seeks to nurture individuals' creative flow, allowing for deeper states of healing, joy, and connection to self and soul.

Physical
Physical Wellness is characterized by the ability to live a healthy quality of life, allowing you to engage in all daily activities desired for a fulfilling lifestyle. At The Wellness Project we help individuals improve important physical factors in their lives, such as nutrition, movement, rest and other lifestyle forms of preventative care. Physical Wellness manifests in increased energy, vitality and physical resilience.

Emotional
The Wellness Project supports community member’s Emotional Wellness by offering workshops, retreats and other events that allow participants to better understand, express and manage their emotions. We believe that when individuals are supported in their Emotional Wellness they develop resilience, gain greater compassion and achieve higher states of emotional awareness and ultimately become more engaged in improving the well-being of others in their circle.

Spirituality
Spiritual Well-being is the ability to establish peace and harmony in one's life by developing guiding beliefs, principles, or values that provide meaning and purpose. It's about finding connection to meaning, purpose, values or a higher power in your life. Spiritual Well-being is characterized by a sense of inner peace, engaging regularly in your own sacred practices and living in alignment with your values. The Wellness Project seeks to offer opportunities to cultivate Spiritual well-being such as meditation, spending time in nature, and practicing gratitude.
